PPS fiber features high temperature resistance, stable strength retention and excellent inherent chemical resistance. It maintains stable filtering performance in harsh working conditions and serves a long service life. However, PPS fiber has poor high-temperature oxidation resistance and is not applicable in environments with excessively high oxygen content.
As an ideal high-temperature filter material, PPS filter felt is more cost-effective than Metamax filter media and serves as a perfect alternative. We adopt Toray imported PPS fiber from Japan, and our finished PPS needle punched felt meets international quality standards.
Taking full advantage of the excellent thermoplasticity of PPS fiber, we produce fully hot-melt welded PPS filter bags with imported full-automatic hot melting technology. The bottom, side walls and collar ring of filter bags are all integrally hot-melt welded, which thoroughly solves air leakage and fiber shedding problems caused by pinholes and uneven material texture of traditional sewn filter bags. The high-precision seamless filter bags are processed by digital multi-point synchronous welding equipment to ensure firm and uniform welding at all positions.
Properties of PPS Needle Punched Felt
1. Continuous operating temperature: 170℃, instantaneous temperature resistance: 232℃, melting point: 285℃, limiting oxygen index: 34~35.
2. Suitable for working environments with oxygen content ≤15%.
3. Excellent resistance to acid, alkali and chemical corrosion, ideal for flue gas containing sulfur and sulfur oxides.
4. Applicable to humid flue gas working conditions.
5. Under working temperature of 190℃~232℃, it shows superior performance with air-to-cloth ratio up to 5:1 for on-line dust cleaning and 6:1 for off-line dust cleaning. Thanks to good thermoplasticity, PPS materials can be made into fully hot-melt filter bags.
