Its chemical name is Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA). It has lower strength and poor elasticity than polyester, and fabrics made of it have weak shape retention, yet it features good wear resistance with service life 1 to 2 times longer than pure cotton fabric.
Its prominent advantage is excellent strong alkali resistance and fine hygroscopicity, and it can bond well with rubber, making it an ideal auxiliary material for rubber industry.
Its disadvantages include low heat resistance — it tends to shrink at 100℃, and poor acid resistance.
**Application**: Suitable for production sites with strong alkaline environment and rubber manufacturing industry.
